Escort Mk2 RS1800 BDA Engine complete, was removed from a 36000mile road car many years ago.
Unmolested Alloy block 86.75mm bore,(never been welded or repaired and is inexcellent condition)
Cylinder head has been just been rebuild by Alan Sherwood race engines, (mild tune, lightly ported and fitted with bigger inlet valves) inlet 32.75 exhaust valves 27.35, double valve springs.
Cam carrier is standard early type.
Pair Camshafts,(fast road)
Standard BDA cast iron crankshaft 10 10 .
Standard BDA cast iron con rods with cosworth bolts.
Cosworth pistons.
Standard Genuine Ford oil pump with proper sandwich plate.
Standard flywheel and Heavy duty clutch.
Pair of twin 40 DOCE Webers.
Complete with, dizzy, all pulleys, genuine RS1800 jask shaft, stainless steel cam wheel cover, water pump
Proper RS1800 sump with pickup pipe.
Nice undamage cam cover.
All the above components are all in very good condition and servicable.
Crank/rods and pistons all assembled, needs sump gaskets, head and rocker gaskets.
Cylinder head still removed for inspection.
Rare opportunity to buy an unmolested alloy blocked RS1800 BDA, with mild fast road modification.
